  1. Hey April!!! I’m Lewis the black guy you spoke to before the movie started & gave you my business card. AND YES YOUR REVIEW ON “US” IS SPOT ON!!! Now I feel so much better about my thoughts because they’re shared. In short THAT MOVIE WAS LIKE GARBAGE SERVED IN A FANCY RESTAURANT THAT EVERYONE HYPED UP. I think I lost my mind a bit during it & was tempted to hit the bar up for a six pack & a fifth of vodka just to make it through lol….. The expectation from the movie was built from GET OUT but was not delivered yet it had the potential to go there. I feel that what I was expecting (which I would love to explain further in detail) is coming soon from black based cinema & it’s going to be a social & cultural shift for the ages!!! And there are some that don’t want this to happen from the powers that be & there are masses that are waiting on such a cinema to inject the needed antidote blah blah blah…..tbc

    • Lewis, it was so great to hear from you and meet you the other night before Us. Glad to hear we are not the only people who thought Us was not the best movie ever made….. We were so excited to see it after Get Out and maybe our expectations were a little too high. Have you listened to our podcast about If Beale Street Could Talk, would love to hear your opinion on that movie . We are very much looking forward to the cultural shift, there are lot’s of great stories out there that need to be given a voice and a platform to be seen and heard.

p.s. It takes a little bit for post to show up, Tim has to approve them. We got too many Viagra sales post on the site…….
